  • Awesome Music: The entire soundtrack, composed mainly by Jarmusch himself.
  • Fanon: Vampire: The Masquerade players have dubbed the film Clan Toreador: The Movie, because the entire film is a how-to of how to roleplay the clan. Hopelessly addicted to art and utterly entranced by beauty in all its forms, all without being able to enjoy physical sex.
Letterboxd: So, two Toreadors, a Malkaviannote  and a ghoulnote  walk into a bar...
  • Fridge Brilliance:
    • Adam and Eve spend decades apart at a time, but thanks to their lifespans, it's more akin to a couple who spend the odd week away from each other.
    • Eve searching for information on her iPhone. Eve has an "Apple of Knowledge."
  • Funny Moments:
    • Ava climbs in bed, uninvited, to cuddle with her (naked) sister and her (equally naked) brother-in-law at a truly ungodly hour. Eve finally manages to get her out, but, just as they seem to be getting back to sleep, Ava starts playing music from their living room. Adam is not amused.
    • Adam's "You drank Ian. You drank. Ian." The way he says it really sells it.
    • The last line of the film:
      Eve: Excusez-moi... (bares fangs)
  • Heartwarming Moments:
    • Adam and Eve dancing to "Trapped By a Thing Called Love". It's the closest Adam comes to smiling in the entire film.
    • After Adam and Eve go to Tangiers, pretty much the first thing Eve does after Kit dies is take all the money they've got left... so she can buy Adam a musical instrument to help him feel better.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • Leave the Camera Running: It's a Jim Jarmusch film, what did you expect? In this case, it's Tropes Are Not Bad.
  • Tear Jerker: Only three people in the world mourn the death of playwright extraordinaire Christopher Marlowe - over 400 years after he "died".
