• Fridge Horror:
  • From Chapter 9, we know that the teachers have been beating Ryuko but, besides that and verbal abuse, what more did they do?
    • Additionally, Ryuko's thoughts in that same chapter reveals she thinks that she deserves that treatment.
  • We get more of taste of this particular bit of fridge horror from chapter 11, when Satsuki gathers that, in her night terrors, Ryuko is begging and pleading to male figure, said figure having a hand in her abuse.
  • As one review on FF.net asks, did Ryuko's stress vomiting come from stress or did she develop an eating disorder as a result of the mistreatment?
  • There's the note of the homes Ryuko adopted/fostered out to. We know she was adopted out to crap homes but one passage mentions her being "entertainment" and, in an earlier chapter, she wonders something about "creepy people".
• Fridge Sadness: Reading between the lines, y'all might get the idea that Ryuko might have developed RAD from her experiences.
• Funny Moments: In Chapter 12, when Ryuko is thinking of escaping but looks out the window to see her escape route is blocked.
