• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • The fact Elsa and Anna discover their parents were sailing to the Enchanted Forest (known as Misthaven in Arendelle) when their ship sank becomes quite amusing when Frozen II reveals Arendelle already knows of a different Enchanted Forest...one that has, in fact, been sealed behind a wall of mist for 34 years.
  • In addition, just as this episode reveals that Gerda left behind an important message for her daughters just before the ship sank (in this case, thrown overboard in a bottle), Frozen II reveals that Iduna left behind a map and a message in a canister sealed inside a watertight compartment. It even still concerns Elsa's magic and a lost secret from the past.^* The difference, of course, is that Gerda's note isn't revealing the purpose of the journey but confessing what she did to Ingrid and asking her daughters to Set Right What Once Went Wrong by releasing her and everyone's memories. The map and note in the sequel film also don't appear to have been left specifically for Elsa and Anna, and the latter is written in a language they can't read so that only their mother's handwritten note can be read; all the map really does is tell them that Ahtohallan is the key to breaking the spirits' curse. That said, Set Right What Once Went Wrong still applies.
