• The Woobie: Aleksandar, the shy kid in the orphanage who was Dumb Struck after she saw his father kill his mother in front of him. Except the truth is actually worse — said mother was a horrible, evil vampire who raped the kid and is now going after him again while exposing him to even more trauma and bloodshed by trying to butcher the people close to him. When everything's said and done, Aleksandar deserves nothing more than a hug at the end of it — and thankfully, the epilogue reveals he managed to overcome his muteness and lead a normal life in spite of it all.
