  • Hanzo at times, especially noticeable right after the route split when he seems embarrassed at Ieyasu praising his calligraphy. In a later chapter, he takes Enju to an abandoned temple he had visited early in his life; the temple itself has long fallen into ruin, but strangely, Hanzo is more disappointed that the garden isn't blooming. The reason he took her there? One of the monks told him, "If you ever want to show someone flowers, bring them here."
  • Gekkamaru too, for his eagerness to please Enju. He even agrees to wear a dress because she jokingly said she'd like to see it.
