• Complete Monster: Yi Yang was introduced as a drug lord with the stylings of a Dragon Lady and a propensity for killing her own minions before Alan Moore reinvented her as an immortal bored with her own longevity. To avenge her prior defeat at his hands, and to give herself some stimulation during her immortality, Yi Yang infected Night Raven with a disease that not only caused him maddening, constant agony, but made him into a fellow immortal so he could bear that agony forever. Not satisfied destroying her nemesis, Yi Yang subjected him to a variety of spiteful mind games, from presenting him with a—fake—cure that she lied would cause the death of millions should he take it, to trying to bury him alive in cement or freeze him alive knowing he would never know respite. Yi Yang also has a habit of preying on lovers she tends to traumatize or offhandedly kill when they outlive their usefulness; one of her cruelest schemes involved manipulating an albino prostitute named Chinese White to use her to lure Night Raven into her clutches, only to abandon her to the cement when she was finished using her. When a man attempted to save Chinese White and saved Yi Yang instead, Yi Yang repaid him by shooting him dead with a wicked grin.
