• Ensemble Dark Horse: Despite being no more important than the other playable characters, Zim is a huge fan-favourite and is probably the most-used character overall, owing to the popularity of his home series.
• Just Here for Godzilla: One of the game's few noteworthy selling points is the fact Invader Zim is a playable character.
• The Problem with Licensed Games: The game is often regarded as one of the worst party games ever made (much less worst Nickelodeon game) due to its mind-numbingly easy difficulty, poor graphics, grating, non-stop sound effects and music, and slippery and often outright poor controls. The fact it's also made by Data Design Interactive, a notorious shovelware developer, doesn't help either.
• That One Boss: Mr. Krabs, the Pipe Challenge boss, is ludicrously difficult compared to the other bosses. Not only does he run faster than you, but he knows exactly where to lay his pipes for the highest scores and will often sabotage your own pipes while having multiple of his own active.
• That One Sidequest: Unlocking all the cup challenges. To unlock the cup challenges, you have to collect bronze stars scattered throughout the games. However, this is easier said than done, as said stars spawn randomly with no control over where they end up, and CPU players have a tendency to collect them the instant they show up, which doesn't count towards the human player's total. This is especially true for the Jimmy Neutron cup, which requires a whopping 150 bronze stars to unlock; it's possible to complete every minigame several times and still not have enough to play it.
