• Heartwarming Moments:
  • Nick playing with his four cats in the video for "Cat Piss".
  • "Gremlins 3: Dawn of Desmond" ends with Nick talking to Grandma on the phone:
    Nick: Hey, Grandma. Oh, thank you! You watched the whole thing? I really appreciate it. I just want to wish you a Merry Christmas. I love you, too.
  • The band reanimating a dead Asa using a monkey's paw and Necronomicon in "Celebration of Summertime". The situation may be horrifying, but they love their trumpet player.
  • Later in the same episode, after having an existential crisis and nearly being Driven to Suicide and murder, Desmond is sprayed with water and realizes he doesn't suffer from gremlin weaknesses.
    Desmond: I can get wet! [laughing] I can get wet!

  • "Obituary" is an ode to silliness in dark times, complete with a refrain of "It's alright".
• Nightmare Fuel:
  • The few frames we see of the men in the tunnels show gorilla-like beasts with human hands and creepy masks.
  • The video for "Sideshow" is a Mind Screw involving Monster Clowns, a cannibalistic cult, and a woman giving birth to a hand saw.
  • "Last Man Standing" tells the story of a father turning to cannibalism to feed his family in a post-apocalyptic Crapsack World.
