- Retroactive Recognition: Bill Murray, while distinctly recognizable, appears for maybe a second and has no lines. Oddly his character has a name—Nick Kessel—and plot significance, since his wild times in Mexico inspire the other characters to take a trip south of the border. Murray at the time of the film's release had done comedy on the short-lived variety show Saturday Night Live with Howard Cosell but was still about a year from his high profile stint on the other Saturday Night Live.
