- Overshadowed by Controversy: Those that have read the comic consider it a Surprisingly Improved Sequel, with Nick and Judy becoming Amicable Exes and living happy, fulling lives. Those that haven't, on the other hand, only know of it from the epilogue where Judy is seemingly assassinated in a rather bloody fasion, causing them to dismiss the whole comic as mere shock value. The fact that most posts talking about it don't mention that it's ultimately just a Bait-and-Switch joke does not help.
- Surprisingly Improved Sequel: People who dislike the past two comics for their bleakness tend to be more favorable to this one due to its more positive vibes, providing a well-deserved happy end for Nick and Judy. It features them having recovered and moving on with their lives, with Nick leading a scout troop and Judy becoming a politician who promotes species equality. They seem to have buried the hatchet and the abortion angle is largely dropped. Even the Sudden Downer Ending in the epilogue turns out to be nothing more than a Bait-and-Switch.
