• Fridge Brilliance: While possibly unintentional on the author's part, Haldir being alive makes sense when you recall that Elves are bound to Arda itself; after their deaths, they are re-embodied after a time in the Halls of Mandos (a la Glorfindel).
• Fridge Horror: In "Tales of a Dream Come True", the author describes the sons of her self-insert as hot.
• Never Live It Down: Éomer lampshades this as the others try to revive Glorfindel in chapter forty-one:
  Merry: But if we throw water on him, make sure someone other than EOMER does it.
  Éomer: Ha ha. Valar, you knock out ONE GUY with a water pitcher and NOBODY will let you live it down!
• Squick:
  • This is the reaction of the characters whenever they come across a sex scene.
  • It also happens in the epilogue, when the characters discover that Starr (who has been involved in multiple sex scenes) was 13 when she came to Middle-Earth.
