- Adorkable: Clod, Garrett, and (to a lesser extent, Depending on the Writer), Blaine as well. All three are endearing whenever they showcase this trope.
- Awesome Ego: As showcased in "The Blaine Game" where Blaine's boasts of being "the best" in the way a kid would boast of being the best, complete with an "I Am" Song, causes him to be all sorts of cool and endearing. It helps that he can back it up to an appreciable degree, including the likes of doing one-handed push-ups on 3 of his Four-Fingered Hands, a one-armed handstand, and bravely and successfully swinging across a giant trench on some vines, even if the latter was also rather foolish, as it was a close save after one of them broke. Still, true enough to his words, even when he's at his worst he saves himself and sticks the landing and so is "still the best". This is in utterly stark contrast from his first appearance in "Up All Knight", where he's anything but awesome.
- Rainbow Lens: Nickelodeon considered it apt to submit "A Tale of Two Nellas", where Gork dresses up as Nella, to the 31st GLAADnote Media Awards. They probably thought that it could be interpreted as a transgender/gender-nonconforming allegory. It lost to The Bravest Knight and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (they were tied).
