  • Awesome Music: Basically, all of it. Even the previously unreleased early material the band recently unveiled on its pair of crowd-funded EPs still blows a lot of other metal acts' work out of the water.
  • Funny Moments: The band's Facebook page is known for their snarky comments and posts. A famous example was when Xenoyr posted that he was selling art work and someone asked him if what if they wanted a painting of sunshines and rainbows. One of the members responded that Xenoyr would "curl up on the floor and die".
  • Heartwarming Moments: Brown is donating the digital proceeds from his solo project to suicide prevention and mental health charities.
  • It's Short, So It Sucks!: Some people had this complaint about Citadel (which is still forty-eight minutes long, but compared to Portal of I's seventy-one minutes people may have been expecting more). This seems to be the only complaint anyone can come up with about it.
  • Jerkass Woobie: Brown is arguably a perfect real-life example. He's publicly acknowledged that the allegations of domestic abuse against him were true and that he needs professional help to reform himself. However, he himself had been a victim of physical and sexual abuse since childhood, which, in addition to being a likely contributing factor to his own abusive behaviour, also seems to have resulted in his developing mental disorders and a serious drug problem. Being fired from the band seems to have served as a wake-up call to him, and he doesn't seem to bear them any ill will for doing so. The Bandcamp of Wheelturner, his solo project, also states, "All digital proceeds will be donated to mental health charity / suicide prevention."
  • Questionable Casting: A lot of fans were disappointed when they wound up being the support act to Cradle of Filth on their world tour. While it's understandable due to how well known the latter act is, the two bands have pretty disparate styles.
