• Base-Breaking Character: Keiji. Some readers think he's a good, solid example of an Original Character who's interesting without taking over the plot, others wonder why he even needed to exist rather than an existing character being inserted into the story in his place.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: During the Hosokusa escape, Kakashi ends up with his hands locked inside heavy metal restraints to keep him from using ninjutsu, so he uses them as armoured gauntlets to bludgeon his opponents with. Several years later, Carol Danvers would do exactly the same thing in Captain Marvel (2019).
• Unexpected Character: You're not likely to foresee Naruto meeting Temari of all people in Orochimaru's dungeons.
