- Harsher in Hindsight:
- Back in 1991 nobody expected the swine/avian flu and the mass hysteria that ensued. Suddenly "Just the Flu" wasn't that ridiculous anymore...
- "What's the Matter With Parents Today?" becomes this following the death of Fat Mike's parents. It can be hard to go back to that song after hearing "My Orphan Year".
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- "We threw gasoline on the fire and now we have stumps for arms and no eyebrows." So even NOFX can't not get injured by a freak gasoline fight accident.
- "I'm Going to Hell For This One" declares that Jesus Christ wants to "kick Mel Gibson's ass" over The Passion of the Christ only a few months before Gibson was lambasted for his public antisemitic rant and a few years before his racist recording leaked.
- Viewer Pronunciation Confusion: The band's name is officially pronounced "no ef-ex", but some fans understandably say it as "En Oh Ef Ex".
