- Funny Moments: The host segment that re-enacts the singing to the animals.Gypsy: You guys are so weird!
- Harsher in Hindsight: Crow's song about the crime bill ends with him singing "I'm opposed by the NRA." It becomes a bit less funny with the rise of incidents of mass shootings in the United States through the Turn of the Millennium and The New '10s, and the NRA's staunch opposition to any legislation attempted to reduce the frequency and lethality of large-scale shootings.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: After Crow calls the three-headed dragon "Ghidorah", the crew makes jokes about the heads bickering with each other. Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) actually does depict Ghidorah's three heads as distinct personalities with a somewhat antagonistic relationship with each other.
- Memetic Mutation: The clip of Mike singing "I'm the government, I'm the government, I'm the reason nothing works!" has been used numerous times on Atop the Fourth Wall.
- Narm Charm: Behind the scenes, the show's writers admitted they actually rather enjoyed this movie, much as they did with the other Russo-Finnish co-productions.
