• Arc Fatigue: The battle between the Dwarves and the Demons. It takes fifty chapters just for all the protagonist's friends to reach the Dwarf Kingdom. It takes another fifty chapters to narrate the events of a single battle spanning over a few hours. Fans were fed up with the author for piling too many filler chapters rather than resolving the arc quickly. Also the chapters were uploaded irregularly. The pacing was frustratingly slow. For example, it takes five chapters for Xiang Ye to launch a nuclear missile, and it takes 38 chapters for Raymond Sasso to exhibit radiation poisoning, and another five chapters until he dies. The whole arc lasted for over 110 chapters. By the time it was concluded, readers forgot about most of the side characters.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Elena. She never had a choice in her actions. Thanks to being controlled by the God Stones, she was Incapable of Disobeying the Regent's orders, so she's compelled to betray Isabella and Xiang Ye at a critical moment, resulting in the protagonist's (temporary) death, holding Isabella down to keep her from helping. She refuses the offers of redemption Sophisas gives her. The fanbase never forgave her, not even after her death to Dorona.
