- Alternative Character Interpretation: The buyer of the sculpture Clover's father made gives a long-winded analysis of its merits, and he agrees, but pauses a little as he speaks. Did he mean to implement everything she brought up, or was the meaning unintentional and he was just taking credit for it regardless?
- Strawman Has a Point: Clover is told that the sculpture sold because it was good, not because the teapot in it was lucky, but considering the buyer felt the need to comment specifically on the teapot, you can kind of see why Clover would think that.
