• Fanfic Fuel: Tender Taps... is he Scootaloo's brother? They have extremely similar (though not identical) coat and mane colors and appear to have the same eye color. Though Tender Taps is an Earth Pony, which doesn't entirely rule out the possible relation (Re: The Cakes) but makes it less likely. However, it was revealed in "The Last Crusade" that her father is an Earth Pony as well, making this much more plausible again.
• Genius Bonus: The main yoga pose that Tree Hugger uses as she is painted is the Vriksasana or tree pose.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Apple Bloom is allergic to bees. As pointed out here, the scene from "Family Appreciation Day" suddenly becomes quite terrifying when we know that.
• Heartwarming in Hindsight: Apple Bloom's attempt at dancing goes about as well as you'd expect from the last time she tried it, but now that the pressure's off about finding her cutie mark, she ends up deciding she still likes it enough to stick with it.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • The opening scene with the CMC all distracted by their own cutie marks may remind fans of this demotivational image◊.
  • In Crusaders of the Lost Mark, the crusaders were at one point singing while running backwards in front of Diamond Tiara. This time, when they try walking backwards in front of Big Macintosh, Apple Bloom actually trips because she can't see where she is going.
• Visual Effects of Awesome: The scene where Apple Bloom is stewing in the tree house when Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle return has some really good shading for a Flash-animated cartoon.
