ALL SPOILERS ARE UNMARKED.

  • Accidental Aesop:
    • Treat your family members properly. The main reason why Solon's relationship with Heli, Jaan, Jino, Shion, Jakah and Noa is pretty strained is because the six vampires kept alternating between being aloof and being overprotective of Solon, and as a result the poor boy grew up with many issues (and that's putting it simply), and even after his Character Development and a Relationship Upgrade with Enzy, there's still some painful scars of the vampires' treatment of him. It's also the main reason why Solon was so conflicted between being fine and not being fine with hiding his werewolf heritage from his brothers due to them hating werewolves.
    • As bad as keeping secrets are, sometimes, if you feel like they won't react too well to what you are or something you did, you actually do have to hide them. But at the same time, you have to tell them at some point before they find out from someone else.
    • Don't be mad at someone simply for being a part of something you hate. It's not like they asked to be born with it, either. (Hell, Solon wasn't even aware of his werewolf heritage until he was seventeen) And if you love that person, at least try to accept them in spite of it.
    • Sometimes, it's not easy to forgive people who wronged you, especially if they're family. You are not olbligated to immediately forgive them and you should let them know you need time for that and they should prove to you that they're truly remorseful for what they did to you. Also, no matter how sympathetic the reasons you have for your actions, it still doesn't excuse said actions.
  • Adorkable: There's a lot of reasons why Enzy fell in love with Solon, and one of them is his cute side. Seeing him all squishy with Enzy is quite endearing to watch. He gets cuter when it's mentioned that he carries a plushie around.
  • Alternative Character Interpretation:
  • Catharsis Factor:
    • The vampires getting repeatedly called out for what they did to Solon is pretty well-deserved, especially to Jaan. Even more cathartic when Solon himself is one of the people who chews them out.
    • After psychologically tormenting Solon for two weeks to the point of Solon reaching dispair, seeing Richard getting his ass handed by the allied Decelis Vampires and Sunshine City Werewolves and beheaded by Heli brought joy, though his evildoings will never be forgotton.
    • Hearing the vampires realize that Solon is right about Sooha feels refreshing for those who hated the main reason for their mistreatment of Solon and completes their character arc.
  • Harsher in Hindsight:
    • Solon taking Jaan's betrayal personally becomes more painful when it's revealed Jaan purposely distanced himself from Solon after he accidentally clawed Noa while trying to get his brothers to stay away from him because his werewolf abilities started to manifest. That was probably the first time that Jaan and Solon agreed on something in a long time, and even that was immediately taken from him.
    • Reading this story made the vampires' treatment of Solon in the Webtoon a bit hard to see now, especially as it got worse, Shion at one point considering burning Solon to a stake to hide the fact that they're actually vampires from Sooha, and everyone seemingly ready to go along with it, which is eerily similar to how Solon's Nightmare Sequence played out at the beginning of Coming Out, except they were gonna sell him to hunters, not burn him to a stake.
    • Solon's minor jealousy and angst over Sooha fitting in with his brothers better than he ever will becomes this after the bonus chapter reveals that this version of Solon is not a reincarnation of vampires of the past like Sooha and his brothers are.
  • Heartwarming in Hindsight: All of Enzy's actions with Solon (even before their Relationship Upgrade) become this when it's revealed that they're true mates.
  • Moe: Hope_WinterBear's version of Solon is very lovable. You'd just want to hug him and protect him from the world.
    • Neoma, Solon and Enzy's adopted daughter, is just as darling as her Papa!
  • The Woobie: Solon's childhood, to put it simply, was total shit. First, hunters have been after him all his life because he's a hybrid between a vampire and a werewolf, then, his parents die while protecting him. His living relatives drop him off in an orphanage because they believed he wasn't safe with them (due to being kinda bad at babysitting and also due to Solon, his father and his uncle being related to freaking Dardan). While he made friends there, the other kids didn't like him because of his strange features (and his withdrawn personality), a fire burns the orphanage down on the day of his adoption, with a majority of the kids killed (and due to his advanced hearing he was able to hear them scream as they burned to death). Jaan, one of the brothers closest to him, became distant because he accidentally attacked Noa when his werewolf abilities start popping up.
    • His life by the time of the story is just as bad, maybe even worse. He's being neglected by most of his brothers because of the new girl. And one night he discovered he's half-werewolf, and his brothers hate werewolves. Just when he got together with the one he loves, his brothers' reaction to the reveal of his werewolf half involved yelling and slurs, which upset Solon deeply, barely a day after that he then gets kidnapped by the hunters, where he gets psychologically tortured and raped despite being a minor by the very man who killed his parents and burned the orphanage he was in. Considering it was mentioned he was missing for 2 weeks, and judging by the state Solon was in by Rescue Mission, who knows what else Richard and the Blood Moon hunters did to him. It's telling in the bonus chapter that despite having a better life now Solon is still pretty traumatized of his time as the Blood Moon hunters' prisoner.
