  • I Knew It!: Right from the start everybody had been making guesses as to who Lorem's husband and Gospel's father was. Following the introduction of a certain character, most fans latched onto him as the most likely candidate for it. Lo and behold, Chapter 110 reveals they were right that Zeke, the demon working for C.A.T.T. was indeed the father.
  • Moe: Many of the characters in the story are rather cute, lovable and huggable, sometimes even when they're taking on a form that wouldn't normally be considered "cute":
    • Chief among all of them is Gospel, who has being moe as basically his state of existence, with literally everything he does making readers feel just as doting and protective towards him as Lorem does.
    • Lorem herself greatly qualifies, as most of the time she's absolutely adorable, especially when it comes to Gospel, and whenever she expresses worries and doubts about how good a mother she's being, one can't help but feel like trying to hug her and tell her she's doing a good job.
    • Lizette is an absolute sweetheart who is incredibly shy, especially since she can't go out into sunlight, which causes her to get rather lonely and attach herself to anybody she can form a connection with.
  • Narm: At first the series is pretty tame with its character designs, even if it's got quite a bit of a World of Buxom in just about every adult female besides Chiharu, who ends up undergoing a Fanservice Pack anyway. Later on in the series, several buxom characters shoot up to a comically oversized degree, to the point that Lorem's boobs basically make up most of her torso.
  • Nightmare Fuel:
    • Chapter 12 provides a prime example of parental worries, where due to her carelessness Lorem wound up almost potentially killing her own son, which absolutely horrifies her.
    • Any time Lorem demonifies is a rather scary sight. Two prime examples are when she first met Eliza in the past, having taken the form of a four-winged heavily scaled monster, giving a terrifying smile as well, and the moment she shows just why she's The Dreaded in the S.A.Z., taking the previous example and amplifying it, making her look like a scaly demonic abomination from somebody's worst nightmare.
    • Demon fights in general tend to have the demons become some pretty nightmarish transformations. And as hard-lining, anti-human demons get bolder and escalate to terrorism, the series jumps to a young child dying from multiple gunshot wounds during a magic stone theft, highlighting no one is safe if the war continues to escalate.
