• Awesome Music: As one would expect, given that Les Claypool is behind the soundtrack. He would later release arrangements of a lot of his work on this game with added vocals as part of his second solo album, Of Fungi And Foe.
• Ugly Cute: The various mushroom people have rather wrinkled, grotesque-looking designs, but their adorable voices and charming Mouse World technology push them straight back into d'aaaaaaawwwww territory.
