- Nightmare Fuel: Well, duh. The guy's called Mr. Nightmare! Pretty much every story told ranges from slightly creepy to utterly terrifying. Just a couple examples:
- In "3 Disturbing TRUE Theatre Stories, Volume 2", the protagonist is watching a movie when someone keeps staring at him. Intimidated, he decides to leave, only to find that the person is actually someone's decapitated head, being held up by an unknown man.
- In "5 Sleep Paralysis Horror Stories", a group of friends are walking around when they hear some Grudge-like noises coming from a bush. They get freaked out and leave the scene. When the protagonist goes to sleep, he undergoes sleep paralysis and is treated to what seems to be the same figure, approaching him at his bed, making the same noise.
- Paranoia Fuel: The other reason besides Nightmare Fuel to avoid watching too many of his videos at once. About 90% of Mr. Nightmare's content has ordinary events turning horrifying for some poor unlucky schmuck. A relaxing drive? A hike in the woods? A simple pizza delivery? All a prelude to terror, and it could happen to anyone else just as easily... including the viewer.
