• He Really Can Act:
  • Carolyn Lawrence, when Orel moans in pain over getting shot by Clay. It's as dramatic and realistic as it sounds.
  • Scott Adsit also shows his worth during Clay's scathing, nightmarish rant prior to shooting Orel.
• Moment of Awesome: Orel singling out his dad for his abuse (even if Clay himself doesn't give a crap). Also, when Orel saves him from a bear and denies doing so as payback.
• Moral Event Horizon: Clay shooting Orel in the leg and showing no remorse over it.
• Nightmare Fuel: Clay's drunken rant in a rather demonic tone, in which he freaks out and shoots Orel in a fit of rage.
