• Crossover Ship: Momo × Jason Voorhees is very popular.
• Friendly Fandoms: It's not rare to see Momo get fan art along with other creepypastas and urban legends, including Anohenobarbus Henocied and the Ayuwoki. She's even been paired up with horror movie icons like Jason.
• Misaimed Fandom: Momo is meant to be harrowing to look at, but there is still a subset of people on the internet who genuinely find her cute and endearing (and in some cases, sexy), namely because of her large eyes and smile. It's not rare to see, alongside the horror-themed fan art, artistic interpretations of Momo doing wholesome activities despite her scary looks.
• Mis-blamed: Because of the frightening image, many of the complaints about the alleged "Momo Challenge" were directed at the art itself, despite the artist having nothing to do with the controversy. This eventually led to the statue being dismantled.
• Nightmare Fuel: Just look at it...
• Overshadowed by Controversy: The original statue was not very well known outside of its home country before it was used by accounts online to start the rumors of the "Momo Challenge", which blew up its infamy. Unfortunately, the controversy proved too much when the artist was forced to dismantle the statue because of it all (and because it was starting to rot, due to being made out of mostly natural materials).
• Self-Fanservice: While the original Momo is absolutely horrifying, many artists who like the statue may draw her in a far more cute and less visceral style.
