• Alternative Character Interpretation: Was Kantarou actually praising Nagisa after she killed Sanae or was he fearfully playing along so she wouldn’t kill him next?
• The Woobie: Ayano in the cafe au lait route. She was sexually harassed by Kantarou endlessly before the start of story and she couldn’t do anything to stop it. As a result, she took matters into her own hands and tried to kill him.
• Jerkass Woobie:
  • Kantarou during Ayano's route turns out to be this. He was a perverted jerk who tormented her for days or even weeks. She snapped one day and tried to kill him out of revenge. If you're able to portray him as a Nice Guy without selecting any perverted or rude dialogue and if he chooses to accept his fate, he could be a true Jerkass Woobie. If you go with any of those lines and if you try to kill her, then he becomes very unlikable.
  • Rikana so much, according to the Spin-Off. She had a neglectful father who ran off and left her with a huge debt, her older brother committed suicide and her mother left her all alone. Her friend, Kojirou, helped her find a way to pay it off and free her from her father's burden. Unfortunately, this involved her lying and manipulating Amnesiac Hero and Lonely Rich Kid Kantarou to get the money she needed. When she was confronted by her lie, she wasn't the least bit concerned that she took advantage of a kid who had no family and has no idea what to do with his life.
• Tear Jerker: Rikana’s True End. Kantarou found out that she wasn’t his sister and had taken advantage of him in his amnesiac state. When Kantarou finally found her, she readily admitted her deception and is unapologetic for taking his money. Should Kantarou stand his ground, she gives him some insight about her life being rough due to her being stuck with her father’s debt. She also says that she might have wanted someone else to know how cruel society is and she mocks Kantarou for not realizing something was up with her. Instead of him doing something like having her arrested or suing her for fraud, Kantarou is so depressed over her lying to him that he ends up getting hit by a car and the endless cycle of pain starting again.
