• Alternative Character Interpretation: Does Alya have tacit permission from Marinette to tell Nino her new secret? On the one hand, Marinette knows keeping secrets in a relationship can destroy it (as with Luka in "Truth"). On the other, Alya created an effective lie to stop Shadow Moth from coming after her in "Sentibubbler", and confiding the truth to someone who can't keep a secret will put her right back in the situation where her family could be kidnapped or killed. What does Marinette mean when she says "I trust you"? Is it about trusting Alya to do the right thing, to resolve her problems with Nino without taking more risks with secrets? Notice the question Alya doesn't answer.
  Nino: But why are you telling me if you aren't supposed to tell anyone? Did Ladybug agree with this?
  Alya: I can't hide this from you because I love you Nino! And we don't have secrets.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Alya is so going to regret confessing her secret to Nino once the Season Finale comes around.
• Memetic Mutation: On tumblr, fans have joked about Nino calling Cat Noir a slut due to him "supposedly" showing romantic interest in Alya even though he openly flirts with Ladybug.
