• Angst? What Angst?: Alya shrugs off the dissonance of having been changed into a bloodthirsty monster when she sees a really good photo op. (To be fair, it's not like Akumatization is new to her.)
  • Similarly, the class understandingly accepts Alya and Nino's apology for threatening everyone's lives while they were Akumatized. Again, most have tried to do the same themselves.
• Catharsis Factor: Over the years the series has, before and after this episode, thrown as many pretexts as possible to justify the absence of a Relationship Upgrade between the two leads: Ladybug would be too distracted by being with the boy she loves to work with him efficiently, she has to know who Cat Noir is to love him, the apocalypse will immediately ensue, etc. Here, not only are they perfectly effective as a Battle Couple, but having no idea who the other is leads them to love both identities without hesitation. This is also their first Relationship Upgrade that does not result in the end of the world. The episode is a good sample of how harmonious a post-reveal relationship between Marinette and Adrien could be, and is something the fans shall wish for.
