• Broken Aesop: When Marinette agrees to let Chloé search her bag on the condition that she does the same to everyone else since Everyone Is a Suspect, her father shoots that idea down on the grounds by claiming that she is doing what Chloé is doing to her but towards all of her classmates. The hole in this logic is that unlike Chloé, who accused Marinette of stealing from her with no evidence to speak of beyond her own personal bias, Marinette only pitched her idea because everyone is equally likely to have stolen the bracelet and she refuses to be the only suspect to be searched. While it can still be argued to be a breach of everyone's privacy, Marinette's idea is still sound and is not the same.
• Fanfic Fuel: While it's probably just a case of the details not quite being fleshed out yet, the fandom did notice that Plagg couldn't use his Intangibility powers to get out of Chloé's bracelet. In light of those details that got fleshed out later, this would imply that the bracelet is magic, giving it potential use as a Chekhov's Gun. This lessened a bit when later episodes revealed that kwamis can't directly phase through objects they're already touching, either.
• Informed Wrongness: Both Marinette and Chloé are meant to be seen in the wrong regarding how they go about trying to figure out who took the latter's bracelet, but it falls flat when you realize that the writers want us to see Marinette suggesting that Everyone Is a Suspect due to a lack of evidence otherwise in the same light as Chloé's biased and baseless accusations towards her.
