• Catharsis Factor:
  • Seeing the Nightmares putting Willam Afton through hell can be refreshing to read after seeing his role in the span of the series, and his new fanfic-exclusive crimes (such as unplugging the life support of the Bite Victim after the Bite of '83). The same applies to reading Mike curb-stomp him in chapters 77-80 and brutally mutilate him in Chapters 81-82.
  • Given their Karma Houdini status in canon series, seeing Fazbear Entertainment's discreditment campaign fail and their reputation fall apart once their corrupt practices and treatment of deceased employees get exposed to public would definitely evoke strong feelings of vindictive joy as the corrupt corporation gets their just desserts with being on the receiving end of flak from their entire customer base.
• Complete Monster: William Afton is the man responsible for the entire Fazbear tragedy. Starting his crimes by creating Funtime animatronics to kill children in his stead, William inadvertently allowed Elizabeth to get killed by Circus Baby, her soul imprisoned inside an animatronic. Abandoning her to her fate, William kills his friend's daughter Charlie and five more children to subject them to the same fate. A horrible parent, William lets Evan suffer under Michael's abuse before finishing him off by unplugging his life support when Michael's prank severely injures him, and tries to corrupt Elizabeth into following in his murderous footsteps. Condemned to eternal suffering in Hell, William makes a wager with Nightmare to break apart the family his ghostly victims formed with Mike Schmidt out of spite. When that fails, William develops a violent grudge against Mike, teaming up with another demon lord to steal younger Nightmares' essences to become Nightmare Springtrap and escape from Hell to subject Mike to a Fate Worse than Death, trying to end ghostly Elizabeth's unlife when she turns on him in favor of Mike. Disgusting even his demonic tormentors, William Afton proves himself to be a monster in life, death, and damnation.
• Evil Is Cool:
  • The Nightmares have a cunning and badass personality to each of them and its hard not to enjoy them when being bad.
  • Dark!Mike is labeled as this due to his supernatural abilities and justifiable (mostly) anger at William Afton.
  • Hell, William Afton, no matter how evil and petty he became, ultimately has a few moments of this as well. Mainly his Nightmare Springtrap form and a few quotes of his.
• Magnificent Bastard:
  • Nightmare is a ruthless Hell Lord and the leader of the Nightmare demons. Exploiting his status as one of the more "Moral" demons, which allows him more access to Earth, he uses it to secretly advance his mysterious goals, while also taking wagers with his victims in exchange for sparing them of torture. Taking one such bet with William Afton to break apart the Schmidt family, his disgust of how he treats his own family leads him to intentionally tighten the bond of the family via his brutally accurate speeches and winning the bet. Gaining a genuine respect towards Mike Schmidt after being bested by him, he later willingly aids the family on occasion, from organizing the brutal defeat of an escaped Afton alongside Mike to helping destroy Glitchtrap's copies while locating the one that escaped via manipulating Fazbear Entertainment, all while subtly advancing his own agenda.
  • Old Man Consequences is a guardian of the Crimson Lake, and the warden of Hell's demons. Though normally neutral to affairs of Earth, Old Man Consequences orchestrates the downfall of William Afton by exposing his deceased son Evan to his atrocities and turning him into Shadow Freddy to serve as a guide to his brother Michael, whose redemption he kickstarted by sending the Nightmares to viciously torture him to develop his survival skills and resolve to atone for his sins. A being superior to Nightmare, Old Man Consequences guides the demon lord into foiling Afton's escape attempt and, after warning Mike Schmidt about Fazbear Entertainment's revival, tasks Nightmare with minimizing the threat of multiple Glitchtraps the corporation inadvertently created, having him perform a normally-forbidden ritual to destroy all but one of Glitchtrap's copies, rewarding Nightmare when the demon succeeds, and keeping him in line with the threats of horrible consequences to prevent his disobedience.
• Moe: The ghost kids, especially Cassidy, are pretty cute. Most of the time.
• W.A.F.F.: The entire fanfic is full of scenes of the ghost children just getting to be children after forty years of being murdered by William Afton and trapped within the animatronics. Witnessing their wonder at all the new experiences they get to have and the simple yet blissful experience of having a family and a father who loves them unconditionally is utterly heartwarming.
• The Woobie: All the ghost children qualify for this as well as Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds due to their tragic deaths expanded from canon and their misguided but very understandable attacks against the security guards, but Liz, AKA Elizabeth Afton takes the damn cake. Not only was she murdered by her favorite animatronic Circus Baby, she then spent years resisting Baby’s evil programming telling her to kill children, was rejected from the composite entity Ennard when their plan to regain their humanity failed, but she was also then corrupted by her appalling excuse for a father William Afton into following his lead, and then killed as Scrap Baby in the Pizzeria fire. AND THEN she is freed of Baby’s influence and left to bear the crushing guilt of her actions later compounded by the revelation that the one she had scooped to become Ennard was her beloved brother Michael. Hell one of her first lines in the series is “I should be burning in Hell with my father!” You will want to hug the poor girl very quickly.
