- Awesome Music: The score, once again composed by Jake "virt" Kaufman. But don't take our word for it.
- "Love You Love You Love" is upbeat and catchy, particularly the tempo change 50 seconds in.
- "Yummy" is pretty kickass.
- So is "Apprehend Them!"
- Don't forget about the lively and memetically popular "Whoa I'm in Space Cuba".
- "Jive Bot" really lives up to its title.
- "Rescue Girl", the credits theme for the sequel.
- The title screen music of the second game, an instrumental of the above "Rescue Girl" is also quite awesome, not to mention "Got2BAStar".
- Also from the second game: "The Afterblaze".
- The last Incident of the second game gives the song aptly named "Final Level". It's a powerful, haunting track to amp up the challenge you'll face and not too noisy so it won't disrupt your focus — because you're going to need it.
- Crosses the Line Twice: In the second game, Patricia can rescue babies by kicking them off screen like soccer balls. The kicker? Patricia also yells at the top of her lungs "YOU'RE SAFE!"
- It's Short, So It Sucks!: The amount of levels in this game seems skeletal in comparison to the previous installments, with the consolation of the levels being much longer. That still didn't stop this trope from becoming a common criticism. In response to these complaints, five bonus levels were added in a free update in May 2012.
- Memetic Mutation:
- The track "Whoa I'm in Space Cuba" (see Awesome Music above) is quite popular among the YTPMV crowd, spawning videos such as this one. It also received a boost in recognition when JonTron used the song for his Schindler's List: HD Remix joke from his video covering a bootleg NES game based on Titanic known as Titenic.
- Likewise, "Rescue Girl" being used in this video by Antoine Delak that suggests Adolf Hitler would return in May 2020 to ruin everyone's day by Fortnite dancing.
- Moe: Patricia Wagon is really adorable, and her cute and energetic voice and personality helps!
- Sequel Displacement: You would be forgiven for not knowing there were two other Mighty games prior to these.
- That One Level: Incident .14 in the sequel, to beat under par, requires memorization of the entire level beforehand, due to the elaborate puzzles involving the color blocks that don't switch if you stand on them. You have to keep track of which colors are in and which ones are out, because the solution to one puzzle might mess up the solution for the next puzzle.
