• Quirky Work: As dark as the core premise may be, the fact the setting's a city full of Bizarrchitecture buildings and its inhabitants are so goofy despite being cold-blooded killers makes the story quite the odd thing to read through.
• Too Bleak, Stopped Caring: Mendoza and Norman's increasingly violent acts coupled with everyone they meet being an eccentric, but bloodthirsty killer makes it hard to care how things will turn out for everyone in the end.
