• Complete Monster: In the Date A Live crossover campaign Ais Catastrophe, the false Kaguya Yamai, obsessed with Isaac Westcott, willfully merges with his personality. After entering the world of Orario alongside Shido and several of his spirit friends, "Kaguya" feigns being worried about the missing Yuzuru Yamai, while also impersonating Kurumi, to instill discord between Shido's spirit friends and the Loki Familia, leading to the Loki Familia's Bete becoming mistrustful of the spirits and Ais/Aiz Wallenstein attacking Tohka/Touka. This leads to Ais getting turned into an Inverse Spirit by a Sephira Crystal which the false Kaguya had implanted in her in the middle of the fight, all to ensure Ais would carry out the false Kaguya's goal of destroying Orario. When her plan of having Ais destroy Orario fails, the false Kaguya takes back the Sephira Crystal and makes plans to destroy Orario with spacequakes herself.
• Fandom-Enraging Misconception:
  • As with many gacha games, the crossover events are not canon to this game nor its source material.
  • This game also is not an adaptation of Date A Live, it is an adaptation of Danmachi, the Date A Live content came with Ais Catastrophe.
• Harsher in Hindsight: In the "Hiryute Sisters' Debutante Tale", Shakti gives Tione a talk about how she's been coddling Tiona and treating her like a child even though they're both grown women by this point. It's heartfelt and serious, but one wonders why Shakti seems so knowledgeable about being an older sibling. Then in "Astraea Record", it's revealed that Shakti had a younger sister named Ardi. The keyword being had, as she was killed in an Evilus suicide bombing while trying to comfort a scared child.
• The Woobie: The game retroactively makes Bell into one with the revelation he had an aunt. His only remaining blood relative at the time (that we know of) abandoned him to aid a terrorist organization, and cause the darkest days for all of Orario, including some of the friends he has in the present time.
