• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • Several of the explosion sound effects later turned up in several PlayStation games, such as Mega Man Legends.
  • At one point in the first episode, Dr. Wily attacks with a giant samurai robot named Samurai Man. Then several months later, an actual samurai Robot Master (Yamato Man) showed up in Mega Man 6.
  • Wily also had an army of fire based robots called Magma Man. What's the name of the fire based Robot Master in Mega Man 9 again?
• Memetic Mutation: Wily's "I'm a NINJA!" The full line, however, is "Because I'm a ninja!".
