• Alternative Character Interpretation: In true Abridged Series fashion, this is applied to the entire main cast in that Madoka is now the slightly ditzy Only Sane Man, Sayaka is Kyosuke's Stalker with a Crush and is probably even ditzier, Mami is an underage drinker who loves drag racing, Homura is an Emo with a very deep voice, and Kyoko has severe anger issues as an ex-member of Angry Bitches Anonymous.
• Awesome Music: "Koi no Mega Lover" kicked a lot of ass and in the weirdest way, kind of fit. The new with-permission theme song isn't bad either.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: Back when the videos were up, there were many commentators clamoring for more Kyouko. Additionally her one-liners were memetic thus making her a fan favorite DESPITE not being in the series yet.
• Les Yay: Homura knows the score:
  Homura: Damn you SHAFT and your lesbian undertones.
  • Sayaka shows this towards Mami as well.
  Sayaka: You can have all of my Les Yay.
  Sayaka: -whisper- All of it.
  • During Kyoko's rant at the end of episode 3, Homura begins jumping in too:
  Kyoko: Wait- when the hell did you get here?!
  Homura: My waifu senses were tingling.
  • Kyoko implies that she is aware of this trope and confidently says that she is the dominant one in every pairing that includes her. Judging by how the fan base naming the pairings that include her as KyoSaya, KyoMami, KyoHomu, etc, maybe she is right.
• The Woobie: In the end of the third episode, Madoka becomes this when the booing audience reduces her to tears. Kyoko even calls her one while delivering a verbal smackdown to the audience.
