• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • In A New Day, when Eric was browsing the Extranet, he found out what games BioWare had released from 1995 to 2023, one of which was the third Baldur's Gate game. Sure enough, the third game was announced, though it's made by Larian Studios instead of BioWare.
  • In Molten Lead, the invader named himself Deus Machina on the Extranet. Meanwhile, in The Matrix Resurrections, while it's not a character having that name, it's a company in the Matrix itself. The author is quick to lampshade this.
  Nord Ronnoc: By the way, I came up with Deus Machina before the Matrix Resurrections came out. Just so you know.
