- Awesome Music: "Don't Blame the Moon" by IO Perry, as heard in the werewolf episode.
- ALL of it.
- Bizarro Episode: "Hyralious, Mutant Monster". Ken Jeong in every role, even playing a poorly costumed Kaiju/offensive Asian stereotype. In addition, it is the only episode without conventional opening credits and the aforementioned Kaiju turns out to be a live-action man in a suit.
- Cult Classic: The show only lasted two seasons and has yet to have a home release, yet people still remember it for its Monster Mash setting, its stop-motion animation and its sense of humor.
- Fridge Logic: Why didn't Lawrence just find a Frankenhole that transferred him earlier than the night of his cursing? He could've warned Barbara, past-him, or hell, both of them to stay the hell away from the forest that night.
- Most Wonderful Sound: Igor's "You got it" for some.
- Squick: Due to the show's copious amounts of Refuge in Audacity, there's several moments that can be kind of gross.
- Suspiciously Similar Song: Lampshaded in "Humanitas" when Jesus sings a Styx song with slightly changed lyrics and an entirely changed melody specifically to avoid paying royalties.
- The Woobie: Victor's creature.
- His speech in "H.G. Wells Scary Monster Contest" is almost Tear Jerker worthy.
