• Retroactive Recognition: LONG before she co-created 6teen and Total Drama, Jennifer Pertsch was a writer for this show.
• Sweetness Aversion: While it never got quite as bad as Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, it was a pretty big offender and clashed with some of the other good-quality Bookworm Bunch shows like Timothy Goes to School and Seven Little Monsters.
• Values Dissonance: As a product of its time, the show depicts an animal circus in a rather positive light, before issues of such circuses (which were wrong then and are wrong now) in real life became a major discussion.
