Common Knowledge: Ron J is often interpreted as a demon. However, the anonymous writer of the creepypasta claims that Ron J was actually a human. Then again, various aspects of the original story and its sequel don't exactly do anything to avoid clearing up the utterly ridiculous naming in the first place.
Complete Monster: Ron J is a monster resembling Mario. While the real creator of his character remains unnamed, Ron J created a cursed Mario Kart game. Once someone had played through the game, he would run out of the TV screen, allowing Ron to murder anyone playing it. When Sarah and Jacob play the game, they witness Ron J torment several people whose souls have been transformed into Mario characters, before he brutally murders Jacob annd Sarah's parents. Viewing all of humanity as toys for his amusement, Ron J is as evil as a Creepypasta monster could be.
Condemned by History: You would have nary a clue this used to be one of the most well-respected game Creepypastas out there judging by how the pasta is treated nowadays; after Yuriofwind tore it apart and made people realize its flaws, the pasta was lampooned so hard the CSRB Wiki it was on ended up getting terminated to death!
Fandom Rivalry: One exists with Friday Night Funkin': Mario's Madness due to the latter's Big Bad, Super Horror Mario, having a similar "A God Am I" mentality. A leak from a known mod leaker known as "Pemod" (often rumored to be Hazy Is Dead impersonating Nova64) revealed a Stylistic Suck troll song made by Hazy entitled "Murderer", featuring…you guessed it, Ron J.
There would eventually be a retextured ROM Hack by Roobitz of the pasta of the same name, with the sole purpose of making fun of it. Funnily enough, it also had Mario renamed to the pasta's antagonist, Ron J.
As of now, pretty much everyone forgot about the creepypasta, that is, until Hazy made fun of the pasta with an intentionally terrible song of him.
It's Popular, Now It Sucks!: Ever since it was posted on the CSRB Wiki and the Stylistic Suck ROM Hack adaptation, it has gained widespread popularity across the net, and since then many find it as one of the worst examples of creepypastas out there, even worse than Sonic.exe. This trope, among otherreasons, is the reason the CSRB Wiki was taken down.
The utterly ridiculous Mario 64 Endless Stairs music that "plays" when Ron J's level is played, something commonly used in various Mario.EXE Creepypastas and following the footsteps of the Sonic.EXE Creepypasta.
