• Complete Monster: Astaroth is an emotionless Galactic Conqueror and Social Darwinist who seeks the Lizard Stone to control the universe, seeking to wipe out all life for having emotions. Making a habit out of annihilating planets and slaughtering everyone inhabiting them in his quest for the Stone, Astaroth at one point invaded Earth and kidnapped hundreds of humans to sell for their organs and into slavery, seeking to make the young Marco his daughter Haqua's personal slave. Having murdered the inhabitants on the desert planet Gal, Astaroth sends sole survivor Gargouille to be tossed into space, later bragging to her about murdering her family. After finding out that the Stone's located on Earth, Astaroth makes numerous attempts to destroy the planet, and after retrieving the Stone, tears Marco's arm off, despite promising Haqua that he won't hurt her new friends, and celebrates his accomplishment by attempting to destroy the Earth again with his forces. A sadistic monster who refuses to see love, even for his own daughter, as anything but a weakness, Astaroth darkened the tone of this lighthearted story with every appearance.
