• Alternate Character Interpretation: Was Yumilia breaking Shizuka the actions of a Jerkass or someone who did value Hazuki as a friend and what Shizuka did to her was unforgivable?
• Catharsis Factor: It was a long time coming but Shizuka's Shes Back moment feels so satisfying especially when she gives Lynne a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown for harming her teammates. Qazan's yell of approval is the same thought fans had.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: The Russians were loved by viewers for being True Companions and being the funniest characters in the show.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Part of the opening theme's title, called "My Uncompleted Story" takes a whole new meaning when you consider the anime's Troubled Production that left the last two episodes being delayed for so long that people doubted whether they would be aired at all. Fortunately the episodes were finally released in April 2019.
• Tear Jerker:
  • Near the middle portion of the anime. Hazuki had to underwent so much trauma believing that Shizuka despises her and wants her out but in truth Shizuka did this to protect Hazuki but that doesn't stop how much hurt they are in. When Shizuka sees Hazuki return to her, Qazan tries to force Hazuki to leave only for Shizuka try and fail, begging Qazan to leave Hazuki alone.
  • The Russians backstory. They are only doing this when one of their own had her Origin sabotaged by an unknown party revealed to be Lynne Davis. It shows how much these girls are tied to their Origin even if it mean becoming something they aren't.
  • Lynne's sister didn't have the best of childhoods neither did Lynne who was the victim of child abuse and child molestation. The reason she allows Lynne to do all this because she failed as an older sister for not protecting her when she needed it the most.
