YMMV / Magical Border Patrol

• Fridge Brilliance: Jake's true form looks almost exactly like a photo negative, right down to the bluish grey skin and black scleras.
• Iron Woobie: Jake. A Child Soldier whose own family and friends (Assuming he has any, considering his monologue in episode one) know nothing about his adventures, and clearly has some serious issues. Despite this, he's still willing to put his life on the line for his friends and his city.
• Narm: The voice acting can be rather weak, but this seems to be going away as the show continues.
• Nightmare Fuel: Jake is slowly being "corrupted" into a grey... thing. Though it looks to be fairly tame so far, just grey skin, pink hair and Black Eyes of Crazy, we can only assume it will get worse.
  • In the second episode we learn that this starts in adolescence. How long has Jake been doing this?
    • According to the man himself, since he was twelve.
