- Funny Moments:
- "When We Break Up" is hilariously casual and frank at times, especially in the chorus when Madeline completely throws out any semblance of meter.
- "Playing Chess" is funny in an absurd-horror, Night-Vale-esque sort of way. The simple fact that the metaphor focuses around a ridiculously high-stakes chess game that Madeline didn't realize she was playing in the first place is bizarrely funny.
- Heartwarming Moments: "Little Sister". The entire thing.
- Nightmare Fuel: Not usually overt, but some of her songs are scarily bleak, especially "Cinderella Redux", "Playing Chess", "One More Time", and "Under The Willow Tree".
- Tear Jerker: Her songs tend towards the angsty, and a good deal of them are fairly sad. "One More Time" probably takes the cake, though.
