  • In this story, Dragon went to Big Mom for the supplies he needed for the burgeoning Revolutionary Army, which the female Emperor allows him to obtain in exchange for giving her a son, Luffy. In One Piece canon, Dragon was really low on cash and resources as Vegapunk pointed out when refusing to join him. Along with the fact that the Revolutionary Army had to play the role of mercenaries for hire in their early days.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • When Garp learns of Luffy being betrothed in a marriage at Whole Cake Island, he suggests Tsuru or any female Marine like Tashigi to marry his grandson and keep him in line much to Sengoku's chagrin. In Chapter 1080 of One Piece, Kujaku is introduced as the granddaughter of Tsuru and uses the Whip-Whip Fruit with a Dominatrix attitude.
  • In this fic, the parents of Zoro and Nami are benevolent rulers of a country in the East Blue who are about to attend the Reverie while hoping to find their missing children. In One Piece's SBS reveal, only Zoro's lineage is confirmed to be from Wano while Nami's has yet to be revealed.
  • Ivankov's comical anger at Dragon regarding Big Mom is this as Chapter 1096 of One Piece revealed that young Big Mom tackled on kid Ivankov who was about to eat the Fish-Fish Fruit, Model: Azure Dragon he took during the God Valley Incident. It seems Ivankov holds a grudge against Big Mom on that day.
