• Awesome Music: The opening theme makes Gratuitous English sound badass and kinda sexy.
• Ensemble Dark Horse:
  • Giulio seems to be the most popular hero among fanartists.
  • Bakshi is this too, mostly with the Japanese fandom.
• Funny Moments: During the festival scene, when the CR-5 are pretending to be traveling performers, they do a sort of impromptu-band thing to get the audience's attention, with some of the instruments lent to them by audience members. What does Ivan get? A triangle.
• Ho Yay: Goes without saying considering the genre, but Bernardo and Gian's playful flirting almost seems this.
• Moe: As with most other Boys' Love games, LD1 provides very well in the man-moe department.
• Moment of Awesome: Many. To start, the Great Escape scene.
• Nightmare Fuel: Giulio's bad ending. Just...Giulio's bad ending.
• Squick: Some of Giulio's interests, and the "obligatory piss scene" with Luchino.
• Tear Jerker: The best ending of Ivan's route. He's the last one of the group alive (the rest having died, presumedly of old age), dying alone on his death bed thinking of Gian and wondering if he's waiting for him on the other side.
