• Nausea Fuel: The insect are designed that they're near-constantly dropping dirt off of them. The way they "lovingly" describe the types of disease they carry only makes them far grosser. Of note is the commercial "Louie's Salad Dressing", where Louie, in a house that is out of Mortein, walks over a lunch on the table and describes all the diseases that the dirt he's shaking off will infest the food with.
• Ugly Cute: Louie might be a scuzzy fly with a smoking problem, but he's got a certain level of appeal that gives him a level of charm.
