• Adorkable: Kyomoto's sheer enthusiasm, energy, and idolization of Fujino is both awkward and adorable.
• Heartwarming Moments: Kyomoto purchased multiple copies of the first volumes of Shark Kick, so she could send in the reader surveys to help keep the series serialized.
• Les Yay: Right off the bat, it's become common to interpret Fujino and Kyomoto's relationship as anything but friendship. Kyomoto especially tows the line with her behavior being very easy to interpret as her having a massive crush on Fujino. It doesn't help that in the Alternate Timeline where she survives the massacre, she blushes as she rereads Fujino's 4-Koma about two lovers reincarnating.
• Signature Scene: Fujino dancing in the rain. Even Fujimoto reflected on how it was impossible to imagine the manga without it.
