YMMV / Loki Episode 4 "The Nexus Event"

• Alternative Character Interpretation:
  • When Ravonna is making small talk with Mobius, she asks him if he could go anywhere in time, where would he go? Is it just a simple conversation between friends, or has she caught on to the fact that Mobius is growing uneasy and actually pulling a Secret Test of Character to see if he's beginning to remember things about his past life? Additionally, when she has Mobius pruned, she turns away in sadness. Was it a look of genuine remorse or was it just a ruse for the Minutemen surrounding her?
  • When Ravonna escorts Sylvie and Loki to the Time Keepers, Sylvie asks what she actually did as a child to cause her first Nexus Event. Ravonna claims to not remember, but her smug expression when answering could indicate that she does know what it was, and is intentionally robbing Sylvie of any closure from learning it.
• I Knew It!:
  • Many fans theorized before this episode that the Time Keepers were either long since dead, or at least someone else was calling the shots at the TVA and giving them the credit. Come this episode, it reveals the Time Keepers are just mindless animatronics, and someone else is pulling their strings, and by extension, controlling the TVA.
  • When it was announced that Richard E. Grant had been cast on the show many speculated that he'd be playing an alternate Loki due to the fact that there was no mention of who he'd be playing. The Stinger for this episode reveals he's playing Classic Loki.
