- Adaptation Displacement: The show is based on Bill Cosby's book series of the same name. The books weren't very well-known, and they were widely removed from school libraries after the sexual assault accusations against Cosby came to light, making them much harder to find.
- Awesome Music: The background music is a very calming jazz-inspired soundtrack.
- Base-Breaking Character: Bill himself is viewed as an annoying and obnoxious character. However, the base is broken on whether or not it's a sign of weakness or an Intended Audience Reaction as Bill is after all a child.
- Broken Base: Among people who watched the show growing up, the question arises: can the show be separated from its creator, or is it tainted by Cosby's current reputation?
- Moe: The titular Little Bill, as well as his friends. This is a preschool show, after all.
- Overshadowed by Controversy: Because of the sexual allegations against Bill Cosby in 2014 and him having been convicted of rape in 2018; many might find it harder to enjoy this series and its main character.
- Retroactive Recognition: Andrew Mulligan's voice actor later voiced Pablo and Aang.
- Sweet Dreams Fuel: This show is a calm and fun show about learning skills like how to read and also how to be a good friend.
