  • Broken Base:
    • Are Blopfush fundamentally evil, or are they just looking for love? On the Butterscotch Shenanigans Discord this question got debated so much that a Blopfush Debate server was set up to discuss it.
    • So far the only major update that the game has gotten is The Void update, mostly due to the dev team working on Crashlands 2. Some players believe another update is needed to keep the game relevant, while others believe the game itself has enough content that such an update isn't necessary.
    • The Combobulator, the game's system for naming levels, is often a contentious subject in the community. Some creators feel its too restrictive and want free level naming, while others think it could be improved by just adding more words to it.
  • Demonic Spiders: Swoopadoop attacks track the player and give them temporary invincibility. Dealing with a horde of them is pretty much impossible.
  • Difficulty Spike: The campaign gets noticeably harder starting with the Kistoon Ruins levels. This is even alluded to in the cutscene explaining GR-17.
Training guide: Employee, you're heading into the Desert Levels now, which will be more challenging than anything you've faced.
  • Good Bad Bugs: The "Omnibush" checkpoint glitch allows GR-18 to keep Tiptow's bush even while switching powerups. Not only is it weird having bush as a different powerup, but the new walking animations that GR-18 gets is hilarious.
  • That One Level: The Waylay section of "What An Adventure, GR-18!" is notoriously hard, especially for first-time players. It involves facing a barrage of enemies which can't touch the ground three times or you fail. It even throws in a medium-sized Ocula which pretty much has to touch the ground once, so there's very little room for error.
